I hardly know where to begin. Dr. Chai has been nothing short of a life saver and I mean that literally, not figuratively.

While my entire family (husband, adult children, and parents) are all patients of Dr. Chai, this post is about my 83 year old mom who had a sudden event that sent her into a life-threatening situation. It’s been a long road.

She has been in the hospital for four months and counting. The details of her journey are full of ups and downs – it’s been a complex ordeal, moments where we weren’t sure how this would all end. But little by little, she has fought her way back. Much of what has fueled her fight is that Dr. Chai has never given up on her. He believes in her. Sometimes, that’s the best medicine a doctor can give.

Dr. Chai has been the backbone advocate for her and our entire family. He communicates with us daily – sometimes multiple times. He ensures she is seen by the best specialists. He has assembled a team around him who work seamlessly together with him, instead of as a disjointed patchwork like what our medical system seems to be made of.

When I say we would not have gotten through this without his excellent care, compassion, and guidance, I mean every word of it. This whole ordeal has taken quite a toll on our family, and having a doctor you can trust at the helm means everything.

You really don’t know how your medical team will show up until you’re in the throes of a crisis, and in this moment, he has shown us that he will never let us down.

How do we say thank you? Words alone aren’t enough – I’m not sure what will ever be enough. But I can tell the world that he walks the walk.

For anyone considering a concierge doctor in the western Inland Empire, rest assured, you will be in the best of hands.
